TCFF: We Are Pyramids

Synopsis: Filmmakers in attendance! Q&A to follow screening! We Are Pyramids follows three Black American teenagers who travel to Egypt to explore the legacy of their ancestral roots. Leaving home allows growth in ways that only travel, reflection, and open-mindedness can inspire. The teens deepen their understanding of liberation and challenge the narratives often placed upon them by immersing themselves in a country steeped in Black history and Black excellence.
