TCFF: I Really Love My Husband

Synopsis: Teresa’s honeymoon has everything going for it. There’s her husband, Drew, a guy that the whole world adores, and who likewise adores her; a social-media-worthy vacation house in the secluded paradise of Bocas del Toro, Panamá; she’s even in full ketosis, save a piña colada or two. Despite all this, Teresa can’t actually relax into her vacation because deep down she is a tangle of self-hatred. By the time they get to the island, she can’t help but see her husband Drew as a people-pleasing golden boy that’s driving her to the edge. Thrust outside of the self-care routines that keep her perfect-on-paper relationship with Drew afloat, and unwilling to face her true feelings, Teresa trains her eyes on a free-spirited expat who runs the couple’s vacation rental named Paz. In a hail-mary attempt to invigorate their marriage, Teresa convinces Drew that having a threesome with Paz will bring them closer together. While Drew and Teresa’s joint seduction of Paz strengthens their bond at first, it unlocks a primal, unspoken feeling in both of them that has been lurking beneath the surface all along.
